What does it include?

TENS Therapy

This therapy is used to find the natural resting position of your jaw. A TENS unit will be used to stimulate your nerves, relax your jaw muscles, and allow your jaw to settle into it's natural position.

TMJ Orthodics

Another step in resolving TMD symptoms is to fit you for a customized orthodic. These devices resemble a mouth guard and are very effective in relieving TMD symptoms. Many patients that experience jaw pain have reported nearly immediate relief of symptoms they had for years before wearing their orthodic.

Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry

In some cases of TMD, there are issues with the way that the teeth align. It's important that the jaw and teeth work together and allow your muscles to work in correct position. Thus, Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry may be recommended in order to prevent the jaw from moving back to a bad position and leading to reoccurring symptoms.
